Imagine it is June 2024. You are finally taking a deep breath. What are you planning to do to take care of yourself, to re-energize, to re-inspire, and to re-envision what is next?
THE SUMMIT is the answer.
The Summit is your time to rest, connect, luxuriate, reflect, and to dream.
WHO IS THE SUMMIT FOR?
The Summit was created with advanced admission professionals in mind, though school leaders of all kinds will find tremendous value in it. Content will not be admission-specific. How to define “advanced” is up to you, but I’m imagining people who have been in school leadership roles for more than seven or eight years or so.
WHEN and WHERE IS THE SUMMIT?
We are gathering in spectacular Healdsburg, California (yes, this is wine country!). Once we have a group formed, we’ll decide on dates that make the most sense for all.
WHAT WILL WE BE DOING?
We will spend about half of each day in workshop and discussion together, and the other half enjoying the area. There will be time for “hot seat topics,” visioning for the future, free time, recreation activities together, as well as incredible food, wine, and creative non-alcoholic beverages, naturally. As details are confirmed, I’ll be sure to update this page as well as let you know directly, if you have indicated your interest.
WHAT IS THE FEE AND WHAT DOES IT INCLUDE?
The participation fee for this pilot year will be approximately $3500. This includes all programming, materials, three nights of lodging (and associated tax), group recreation activities, two breakfasts, two lunches, and two dinners. It does not include transportation to the hotel or individual choices you make about how to spend free time (think: spa, shopping, gourmet ice cream on the plaza, and so on…). There are two sliding scale spaces available and there may be some differential available for different types of lodging rooms. These details are still being worked out.
